Networking with a Business Card
Can you network without a mouth? No, you can not. So why would you leave your raised print business cards behind?
Here’s a few tips to effectively network with your business cards.
1. Always keep business cards where you can quickly get to them. There’s nothing worse than someone saying “i’ll look you up”… They won’t -
2. Ever received a bent or damaged business card? I have and it doesn’t leave much of an impression, huh?
3. If you ever go out to buy a sandwich and I assume you do since you’re a human. Drop a business card in the fishbowl by the register and post it on local business exchange boards. Don’t assume no one looks at them. The next person to put their card on there may be your next customer.
4. Simply give a business card to everyone – “I already have a supplier” – Whatever… My card has a discount coupon on the back.
5. Business cards for employees. Your employees are your business. Give them a reason to talk about your business. If that works they should a custom business card to go with it.
